We also have student volunteers who too, give
back to a sport, which has given them great accomplishments.
Travis Toyama is currently on the
University High School golf team. He was a 2002 Hawaii High School
All-Star Invitational selection for the ILH league and 2002 Manoa Cup
Champion (youngest player to win at age 15). On August 15, 2003 Toyama broke the tournament
record previously shared by Tiger Woods as he won the boys title of the
Independent Insurance Agent Junior Classic (IIAJC) played at Olde York
Country Club in Columbus, New Jersey.
Jonathan Hirata is currently on
the Castle High School golf team. He was a 2002 Hawaii High School
All-Star Invitational selection for the OIA league. Jonathan was the Most
Valuable Player (MVP) for Castle High School.
All golf professionals have a strong desire to
insure that juniors all have a great time and enjoy the game of golf. They
too were young at one time and want more than anything to see up and
coming stars from the State of Hawaii.
Remember, all of your instructors
are here to help you and guide you. If you are unsure of anything, please
contact one of the instructors or assistants for help.
