7.10.2004 Oahu Country Club- It
was indeed a shoot out today at OCC, as many players were
so close at the top of the leader board thru 36 holes.
Down the stretch, 42-year-old Jonathan Ota
of Kauai
sealed the deal with a final round
2-under par 69 and a tournament total of 212, 1-under par
(74-69-69). Ota started the day one shot back of the
leader and finished strong on his inward nine with 4
birdies. Runner up honors went to OCC member Gary Kong
who closed with a 1-under par 70 and a tournament total of
213, even-par (70-73-70). Rounding out the top three,
Clayton Gomi 75-70-69--214, 1-over par. |
