Wie Officially Turns Pro as the World Watches!

Hotel, Hawaii--- 15-year-old Michelle Wie (right) of Honolulu, Hawaii
officially announced today that she is now a professional golfer on National
Television. Wie said she is very excited and can finally help others now
that she's a professional. Right out of the gates she made good on her word
donating $500,000 to Hurricane Katrina victims. Wie will turn 16 next
Tuesday October 11th, we wish Michelle the best! Her first event as a
professional,
the LPGA's
Samsung World
Championship-
Palm Desert, Calif., October 13-16.
